This version

PvP in Polandball Go is a weekly ladder. You attack other players' defense teams, the game plays the defending side for them, and wins move you up through seven tiers from Bronze to Ethereal. There are two leagues with separate standings, and both reset on a fixed weekly clock.

Open League and Rarity League

The Open League has no limits. Any five balls you own can go in, Legendary and Mythical included.

The Rarity League plays one rarity a day: Common, Uncommon, Rare and Epic each get a day of their own. Legendary and Mythical balls have no day in the Rarity League.

The two leagues keep separate standings. Reaching Crystal in Open says nothing about where you stand in Rarity, and the game keeps your rank history and career best for each league on its own.

The weekly clock

All resets happen at 8 PM US Eastern time, following daylight saving.

  • The Open League resets on Sunday at 8 PM.
  • The Rarity League runs Common from Sunday 8 PM, Uncommon from Monday 8 PM, Rare from Tuesday 8 PM and Epic from Wednesday 8 PM. It closes on Thursday at 8 PM and stays closed until the Sunday reset.

So the Rarity League runs four days a week, one rarity each, and the weekend belongs to the Open League alone.

The battle screen shows an attempts counter for each league, such as 2/5, with a timer for the next recharge. The exact cap and recharge time haven't been confirmed.

Tiers and ladder points

The seven tiers, from the bottom, are Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, Crystal, Aurora and Ethereal. Each has four divisions, IV at the bottom to I at the top, and the game shows your place as something like "Ethereal · Div II · #8". At the weekly settle, division I of each tier moves up a tier and division IV drops one. Most players sit in the lower tiers, and Ethereal is a small group.

A win earns ladder points and a loss earns nothing. Beating someone with more points than you pays more, and wins in a row add a streak bonus that the game shows as a multiplier, such as "x1.15, 4 in a row". PvP tiers and ladder points has the full rules.

Glory

PvP wins also pay Glory, and the game adds a placement bonus at what it calls the Monday rollover. Glory is spent only in the Glory Shop, which restocks weekly and sells Prestige Fragments I to IV, type orbs (50 Glory plus 500 Clay each), passes and Influence bundles. The War Shop's Glorious Set costs Glory on top of War Bonds. See Currencies and shops.

How a PvP battle is fought

Since patch 4.3.3 on October 1, 2026, a PvP battle is a round-based duel. Before that, it was settled in a single hit per slot. The two PvP systems compares them.

  • Each side brings five balls, one active at a time. The first side to knock out three wins.
  • If no one has three KOs after 24 rounds, the side with the larger share of its HP and Protection left wins.
  • Each round, both sides pick a move at the same time: Attack, Block, Swap or Weapon.
  • Moves resolve in order: Swaps, then Blocks, then Attacks, then Weapon attacks.
  • Block stops an Attack completely and gives you Momentum, so your next Attack goes first. You can't Block twice in a row.
  • Swap brings in another ball, and the newcomer can't Swap out again the next round. After a KO, the next ball comes in for free.
  • Weapon is a bigger hit using your item's attack and resonance type. It has two charges that never come back, and it goes through a Block for half damage.
  • Nothing heals during a duel, and there are no critical hits or random damage.

The five country stats decide most of it. Population sets HP, Military sets Attack, Economy sets Protection, Diplomacy sets Speed and Soft Power raises Weapon hits. CP multiplies both your hits and your HP, so a CP edge helps you on both ends of every exchange. The duel engine has the formulas.

Each PvP duel also takes place in a random arena, revealed when the duel loads. An arena boosts some types by 5%, weapon hits included, and you never get to pick it.

Item effects don't act in duels. An item counts only through its attack, which powers Weapon, and its defense, which adds to Protection. See Items, tiers and resonance.

Attacking and defending

Your defense team is played by the game's bot, which picks its moves on its own. How the bot chooses isn't published. Attackers win far more duels than defenders, and the gap grows at higher tiers. A defender that avoids three KOs until round 24 can still win on the share of HP and Protection it has left.

Your team's type matchups still matter: the type chart decides how hard each Attack and Weapon hit lands.
